General Food Co - Williamstown

Based on the review on TripAdvisor, a friend and I met here one weekday morning. My friend rated the coffee as very good. Although the cafe mentioned gluten free food available, all I could get was gf bread served with butter and delicious raspberry jam. The cafe is very small and, unfortunately, very noisy due to the tiled floor and metal-legged chairs. The noise of the coffee machine in such a small space didn't help either.However, the service was good and once people left, the noise abated and we enjoyed our last half hour there.

Simply put ...... Great food, Great ambience, Great price! The menu caters to everyone but doesn't make the all too often mistake of being pretentious. Gluten-free & Vegie options are no problem. Delicious coffee made with love & 5 star service from friendly staff with actual personalities make this little find in Williamstown a keeper. Fur babies welcome!

Cosy little place with good coffee, good service and excellent scrambled eggs with toast and a side of bacon. Only let down were the knives! Not good for slicing!!!

Enjoyed a coffee at this quiet little cafe it seems only locals know about. Has a simple yet delicious menu, doesn't overdo it and has excellent service. Bring your kids and the dog!

Stopped for coffee that tasted okay although not exceptional as we've started to expect in Melbourne! Good spot with sun shining through on a cool day and my friends had scones that they said were good. Didn't notice any other food choices than biscuits and cakes. Okay but
