A&W Restaurant - Williams Lake

The family and I have this A W over the years, especially after Teddy's went the way of Dodo to breakfast. We would usually go through as part of a road trip and therefore the vision was always an essential factor in our decision to come here. Needless to say, we have never regretted our choice; finally, when you come to A W or similar fast food chains, you usually know what to expect: Fast, decent food at an excellent price. In fact, our recent visit was no exception. Coming to breakfast in the middle was quite busy. There were still some decent tables available, although most have benefited from a small cleanup. In any case, after our order – 2 sausage eggs, 1 sausage meats, pancakes and All-Canadian Special – we had to wait only five minutes before we received everything. Given how busy it was, we were pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the staff. As far as food goes, it was Vintage A W. The sausage eggs met all the right notes; the egg was light and fluffy; the sausage eddar was also delish; and the All-Canadian was good, although I admit that it did not necessarily blow someone away – some of the toast passed on burned and the accompanying tomatoes were overripe. These small problems aside, but we were happy with our breakfast and found ourselves on the street in no time flat! FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 4/5 VALUE: 5/5 RECOMMENDATION: Well, until fast food goes, A W is close to the top of the ladder. Regardless of location and time of day, I found that they have always delivered a good product. This is most important to me when it comes to fast food – can you deliver me a consistent product over the miles? A W checks this box and is therefore winner in my books. Very friendly staff and the usual menu. The floor was dirty and the washrooms were clean. Please get someone who flushes floors all day.

The chicken sandwich was very good for fast food. It had lots for toppings and tasted fresh. The fries were good as well.

Quick stop driving thru. Food seemed ok. Could've had napkins in the bag. Great spot for William's Lake but thats not saying much.

Food was fresh and hot. Could not find a clean table at 130 pm. Could use alittle more wiping of the tables. Saw someone wipe a couple of tables when we were leaving at 2 pm.
