Price Chopper - Wilkes-Barre

Great place to buy for food and the prices are not too bad. beautiful clean environment and always empty when I and my man business, this is great!

I am always happy with my experiences at the pharmacy! I enjoy the sale items and call this my grocery store. Two things that bothered me more than once at this store is the soda stock person! I have went in several times for the boxes of soda (Pepsi or Coke brands) and each time the new expiration date items are on the top and the old stuff is in the back or bottom. I am glad that I look but from a former stock person-it's annoying. The next thing that was worse included buying a couple of house plants and them dying within a week or two.

Large selection and very clean. No waiting for check out. Friendly service staff

I love the store for just about everything with the exception of the produce department I feel they could pay a little bit more attention to detail and try to eliminate the fruit flies and bad produce that's on display. I hate the fact that I feel I need to go to a different store for my produce and that go to store is Wegmans. Even though they're a little pricey I'd rather pay a little more and get better produce that will last rather than something that's going to go bad within a couple of days.

I just LOVE the fact that the Owner monitors these reviews, so here we go.....First off, we understand the current labor shortage crisis, but supermarkets profitability is mostly based on point of sale purchases This store during evenings has TWO checkout aisles with NO express lane and NO self-checkout being one of them. TWICE I needed to wait over 20 minutes in a life I live ONCE in order to buy ONE item. That being said, I savor the moment their neighbors at Wegmans puts them out This store WILL eventually close, and this community won't miss it. I've got nothing further to offer.
