Best Western Plus Wilkes Barre Center City

Best atmosphere! Amazing ,friendly crew! We stayed over one night on 6/15/22 from the moment we got there we felt welcomed. Staff at a admiting to exiting were courteous, willing to do extra.We ate in the dining area, food was excellent, waiter so nice and made us feel special. Bartender attentive and professional. Music played on piano was impressive. A seasoned gentleman who knows how to please a crowd or a few. Breakfast was just as good. From banana pancakes,French toast, ham, sausage and more. The chef came out wanting to make sure we were satisfied with breakfast. Best stay at any hotel and we have been to many. Highly recommend.

We made our reservation through BringFido and were warmly welcomed by Chris, who has a wonderful personality and was very accommodating. We requested a quiet room and received precisely what we asked for. We slept soundly, and our dog was thrilled with the clean and well-furnished room. She even received a treat during check-in! Highly recommend this place—we will definitely return.

I was extremely pleased with my experience at this hotel! First of all, I'd like to commend the front desk staff (both morning and night) for their dedication to customer service, as well as the housekeeping team for maintaining such clean rooms. The accommodations were fantastic; if this hotel were located in NYC or Philly, the nightly rates would be significantly higher. I was also thrilled with the hotel's convenient location near the FM Kirby Center. We could easily walk through the little bus stop and down the alley to reach the marquee. As for breakfast, it was decent—not bad for a complimentary buffet. There are plenty of amenities nearby, including Boscov's just through the alley, which was helpful in case we needed anything. The following day, we had the opportunity to explore beautiful outdoor spots for mild hikes in Nay Aud Park, Seven Tubs, and Hawk Falls.

Friendly staff. Breakfast only till 9am. Only 1 way when leaving. Clean rooms. Very nice bathroom. Hotel has covid rules . Bar and restaurant. Our waiter Michael was excellent. Thanks to all staff.

The hotel is conveniently located near various shops and dining options. There's a fantastic gyro place just across the street. The rooms are clean, modern, and spacious. The staff is incredibly helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, especially with the option to make your own waffles. The on-site restaurant was unique, and I only wish I could have dined there, but unfortunately, I couldn't. If I visit the area again, I hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor pool and its amenities.
