Wildflowers - Wilkes Barre

After a long drive we decided to not go out and just pop in downstairs shortly before closing. We were greeted by Mike who was bartending, busing, hosting, and being the waiter. He had a great personality, being super friendly and letting us know what his favorite dishes were. We ordered the French onion soup, have tray of old forge pizza, and a hangover burger. The French onion soup was honestly really delicious. It was so flavorful and not overly loaded with onions. It was a perfect soup. The old forge pizza was really good, I'm not the biggest fan personally of PA pizza but this one was pretty tasty. The burger looked and tasted amazing. It was cooked perfectly and was ginormous. Mike made the meal that much better with his great attitude even tho you can tell this dude was definitely exhausted after an insanely long work weekend. Thanks for not rushing us out and for being super friendly, we appreciate that. We will definitely be back in the near future since it's hard to find decent food in the area.

I was in town for work. I had a room at the hotel and I was tired of driving. Decent food, very convenient, service was good, sat down quickly, food took a bit, but drinks were quick.

Nice clean motel room and the Bistro is pretty nice for a motel restaurant. My quesadilla was good and the sweet potato fries were tasty. I heard the cheesesteak is good and may try that later this week. Nice outdoor patio and grounds.

It's the restaurant in the holiday inn. The burger was good and the Bourbon was a reasonable price.

I am staying at the Holiday Inn here in Wilkes Barre where Wildflowers is located. I ate at many nice restaurants while I was here. I ordered the Sweet Thai Chili Wings and the Loaded Nachos. They were able to add medium rare steak to the nachos at my request which made them absolutely great! They did a great job with the preparation of both dishes and I will order again next time I stay here
