The Boathouse - Wildwood Crest

Beautiful views from the back deck and great food! The surf and turf was fresh and the service was awesome. Would recommend trying this spot out.

Mixed review here for sure as I have been coming here for the food and sunsets with my family since I was a kid. But, the restaurant management needs to focus on the details to get my business again. Some advice: 1. Be sure to clean the water glasses on the table. For a sunset service, the sun will quickly show how clean they are. I had to ask for a new glass twice, and the second still had lipstick on it. 2. The Sunset Margarita was the worst margarita I have ever had. Just mix and no Grand Manier. Also, Never serve a margarita in a pina colada glass. 3. Coconut shrimp are not fresh; they are frozen from a bag...disappointing. 4. The linguine and clams was Sensational!! It was the redeeming quality from the dining experience. Again, with some attention to detail at the bar and scullery this would have been a great dining experience.

Definitely recommend the boathouse. We had a wonderful dinner on the water. We sat in in the back dining room, which was very nice. I had a nice Pinot Grigio. Darren had a ****** ****** Mary. The Royal seafood combination was good and adequate. I only wish that the fish was a little bigger, serving of the fish was a little small but everything else was OK

Service was excellent, Megan was great, but the food was subpar and over priced. Definitely will not be back. Tourist trap geared towards getting you in and out quickly. Views were nice.

I highly recommend the Boathouse Restaurant! My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a nicer meal on the last night of our our beach vacation. The hotel staff where we were staying recommended the Boathouse. So glad we went! A little pricey but the staff and Manager Rose (5 managers in this restaurant ensure everything runs smoothly) took the time to make sure we got our money's worth! We ordered little clams appetizer, surf n turf and MD crab cakes. Family atmosphere, come as you are dress code, top shelf menu!
