Went here for dinner last night and couldn't recommend it more. The Masala salad is so fresh and the butter chicken is one of the best I've had. Our waiter Abhinav was really attentive and helpful and seemed to really care if we enjoyed our...time. Great neighborhood, especially if you stop at the tea shop around the corner, One Leaf, afterwards.
Not a huge place but the food is big on taste. Had the Mixed Sizzler grill plate and well worth it.....nice and spicy and meat not turned into boot leather or inedible chunks. extensive choice of food than some other Indian restaurants around town...too! Is open on a Sunday also.
The food was unfortunately cold!
We went there last week. After reading all comments in quandoo i was expecting to see some sort of creativity in the dishes. We had the vegetarian mixed plate for 2 for starter and then took Rogan Josh and Beef curry and a naan bread. The starter plate was a big disappointment. Very moderate in size, but also nothing impressive as taste. Some boring croquette, spinach meatball, paneer and smtg else. Only the cheese was tasty. For 12 euro that is a definite no go. The Rogan Josh that is advertised as a de-boned lamb shank was definitely beef. I complained to the waitress who spoke to the cook..but then didnt tell anything. In Austria lamb is not popular among locals and often a beef is served instead. Fortunately i can tell the difference even in a spicy meal like the one i had. The naan bread was fine.we had 2 glasses of wine and a beer and paid 55 euro that is a lot for this sort of food. Tulsi is a no go for us.
