Cafe- Al Caminetto - Wien

Good, fresh pizza. A family own restaurant with a cozy ambiance. The pizza is made in a brick oven and uses only fresh ingredients like the mozzarella and home made sauce. Delicious!!!!!

We were a group of 9 which included 4 children, 3 people are coeliacs and 2 are vegetarian so we recognise we can be a bit demanding with all the dietary requirements. The staff were really accommodating, I think they served us quickly as they could see it's a good idea to feed the children asap. We had the grilled calamari, bistecca pizzaola (this was so good), minestrone soup, caprese salad, gluten free carbonara pasta, spaghetti pomodoro and a mixed salad and the vegetarian gnocchi. The only dish I don't recommend is the gnocchi... too much mozzarella and the gnocchi was not light and fluffy but heavy and doughy. The staff were friendly and the food was good. I would eat here again.

We stumbled on this restaurant on our first of 3 nights in Vienna. So glad we did. Food is excellent and so reminiscent of our visits to Italy. Previous negative comments state that you are under pressure to leave a tip, but we found this the norm anywhere we went in Vienna, either for a coffee, meal or just a drink so please don't let this put you off this fabulous restaurant. Prices are exceptionally good value and food cooked and presented beautifully. We loved is so much we went back again, 2 visits in 3 days, I would say that is recommendation enough.

Food was good and well-prices. It was also served very quickly (which is good when you're hungry). Took a while for someone to bring our bill and the waitress seemed slightly disgruntled about bringing back our change.

Food was ok but service was terrible. Very rude waiter, not very welcoming at all, everything seemed to be an effort for him. When I asked for the bill he just said "card", I then said well how much is it? He walked off in a huff and then eventually came back with the card machine and pressured me into giving a tip, so its not just Americans (saw previous comment) we are English. I reluctantly added 1 Euro. Disgusted!
