The fish and chips are fine, but what really makes them stand out is the amazing view and location. Volunteers are required to prepare the food, so be prepared to wait a bit longer or arrive early. Waiting can be made more enjoyable with a cold drink from their well-stocked bar. It's worth supporting them by becoming a member as it offers good value and allows you to enjoy your meal on the grass or at a shaded table.

The club is run by volunteers and the fish and chips are really cheap as chips, but really good quality and the drinks are club price. they value the running gear and highly recommended if they are wise.

If this place is open (only sonnays) it is a must to visit. great view of the Indian Ocean and the local beach. the children can go swimming. the it area is fenced with a huge grass area. all seats are outside and the drinks are cold and cheap. a good family fish and chip outing. all locals go here on a Sunday.

The lunch with the fish and the chips in the pt walcott yacht club was the highlight of my 7 weeks stay in pt samson. a tourist in our neighboring caravan park has randomly told us that they drove to the yacht club for $10 fish and...chips yacht club, we said here. On this day discovered a unique place great quality fish at very low price of now $12, packed in paper with a quarter lemon. drinks are so favorable and the view from the tables in free is simply excellent. the people come from far and wide to experience this, so they must be patient when there is a wait for their order. the costs are limited to a minimum, as the community groups get the opportunity to lead the bar and cook the fish and chips to increase money for their organizations. it is such a big concept. the best day of the 6 Sundays for which we were there was when they tried yacht club to keep some entertainment. the people who danced from the 60s, 70s and 80s to music were so great. I can't expect to be back next year.

This restaurant in the Pilbara has one of the best relaxed atmospheres. They serve fresh fish and chips every Sunday, with enthusiastic volunteer staff.
