Bidrage med feedbackThis was our final stop in Wichita during this trip, and we had a party of seven. We were seated right as the restaurant opened on Sunday. Our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive to everyone at our table. My husband and I ordered a Japanese burrito as an appetizer, and it was fantastic—filled with spicy tuna and crab, it could easily be a full meal on its own. I also tried the Ballentine roll, which is rice-free, and it was both delicious and quite satisfying. To top it all off, after our meal, the server brought us charming little orange teddy bears as a complimentary treat from the chef. I highly recommend this place!
The service here is consistently outstanding, and the food is served promptly and always tastes incredible. This is definitely one of my top five favorite restaurants in Wichita.
I do not recommend this restaurant. Although there are designated handicap spots near the entrance, I parked in the closest spot only to be told I couldn't park there because those three spots are reserved for pickups. Not a single one of those spots was in use at the time. It seems they don't care about veterans with disabilities or anyone who struggles to walk; all they care about is money. There are other Japanese restaurants that are just as good, if not better. Our party of six has decided to go to Applebee's instead.
The Spider Roll was absolutely worth the price! Although it is on the more expensive side, I believe all the specialty rolls justify the cost. That said, I kind of wish I had opted for a different specialty roll instead of the classic salmon roll. The salmon roll did enhance my meal, so I can’t really complain about it. The chicken gyoza was tasty, although I would have preferred it to be a bit crunchier. Overall, I'm really pleased that I decided to come back. Thank you for a wonderful Saturday night takeout experience!
At first glance, the restaurant may not seem particularly impressive from the outside, but once you step inside, it feels like you've entered a whole new world. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a spacious interior that's softly lit and features comfortable blackout windows. The sushi is undoubtedly the best I've tasted in Wichita; everything was extremely fresh and flavorful, with rolls that had just the right amount of rice and generous portions of fish. I highly recommend trying the ahi tower—it's absolutely fantastic. If I ever find myself in Kansas again, I will definitely return to this restaurant.
