The Angry Elephant - Wichita

The nachos were quite enjoyable. However, I have to admit that the food didn’t quite live up to our expectations. While the presentation was impressive, the mac and cheese lacked flavor, and the burger was underwhelming. It felt a bit too expensive for the quality of the food. The service could also use some improvement—our server didn't check on us, so we didn't get any drink refills.

Outstanding food and service today, Lily our waitress was very cordial and attentive. Kept the drinks full during happy hour! The portions are very generous, would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for good bbq with an edge. We had the Smacfries that were outstanding, along with brisket/pork. The okra and fritters are always a favorite. Can?t wait to try the BBQMac.

Fantastic dining experience! The BBQ was excellent, and I appreciated their innovative twist on traditional flavors. It’s a refreshing alternative to the other BBQ spots in town. I must also mention that their sweet tea is perfect. While the service was a bit slow, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely be returning!

Great location with easy parking. The service was good, though the food took a little longer to arrive than expected; however, it was exceptionally tasty. I do have a couple of suggestions for the BBQ joint. First, the rectangular platters look nice, but they're not very practical. They should catch the drippings from those juicy burgers, not leave me looking like I just had a meal with a three-year-old—my shirt was covered in burger dribbles! My girlfriend found it pretty amusing, so I guess that’s a bonus. Also, I recommend placing paper napkins on the table. Fabric napkins are a nice touch, but they don’t help much when you’re serving burgers that are almost too big to manage. Case in point: The Angry Angus burger with okra was simply too juicy for that rectangular plate. I love this place and will definitely be back!

We decided to start DINING BY THE ALPHABET Wichita, Ks Letter A- THE ANGRY ELEPHANT Score 5/5 It would take an elephant to eat all of this food. The portion sizes were crazy! Easily 2 meals for us. The BBQ waffle was a new item that the waitressdidn 't even know about. Turns out the owners changed the menus and didn 't tell the waitstaff. ???? It was a winner. The wafflewas very savory and reminded me of a corn fritter. It was piled high with multiple kinds of meat and creama sauce. Glad theyadded it to the menu. The BBQ Mac was awesome. The Mac was so creamy and not dried out like some Mac can be. Loaded up with 3different meats and creama sauce. I personally didn 't care for the hot links just because they were too sweet for me. The spicelevel was perfect but I 'm just not a fan of sweet links. The staff was awesome and very friendly. The art on the walls was doneby a local artist. We will definitely be back because there were too many things on the menu that we still want try! Gotta getthrough the rest of the alphabet first!
