Newell Beach Takeaway and Cafe

We tried the fish and chips and it was amazing! The batter was incredibly crispy and the mackerel was delicious.

This restaurant is excellent with a large menu, located right next to the caravan park where I stayed. The fish and chips were delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable and beautiful.

This restaurant in Newell is truly a hidden gem. The hamburgers with all the fixings are so delicious that you can't help but wonder how you managed to eat it all. I'm already thinking about coming back for another one tomorrow. The fish and chips are also fantastic, made with fresh fish rather than frozen. The service is excellent, although it can get quite busy so it's best to arrive early. I always make a reservation. 10/10, highly recommend.

We were keen to get food from here as the reviews are great and it’s the only option in Newell Beach. We ordered pizza and fish and chips. The pizza bases aren’t home made and while the top was cooked the bases weren’t. The fish...(Spanish mackerel which is a white flakey reef fish) was tasty, well cooked (moist) and the batter was light, golden and crispy. The chips were like cardboard. I think we’ll just order fish next time.
