The New Crown - Whittlesey

This is a welcoming pub with reasonably priced drinks, and it's lovely to enjoy some live entertainment in the sunshine.

I visited this place for the first time since the new owners took over. The decor is nice, and the outdoor tables are clean. The staff is friendly, and the service was prompt.

Sunday roast was lovely and great price for set courses. Good choices on the menus and atmosphere was good. Staff very friendly and attentive. We will be back, thank you!! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The restaurant offers excellent food and service. The price per person ranges from £40 to £50. Overall, I'd rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5.

However, when the food finally did arrive, I must say it was very flavorful, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. The only downside was that there was an extra charge for the lamb, which I found uncalled for, especially since it was a rather small lamb shank. Would I return? Yes, but only if the wait were shorter and the additional charge for lamb was removed.
