Crab Winkle - Whitstable

The Crab and Winkle restaurant was no longer in business due to a fire that occurred a month earlier. It was disheartening news, but we had to make calls to other restaurants to find an available reservation since we were not informed about the closure.

Vera friendly staff. Chef made us his speciality. Oysters in ways. Yummie. Despite they were not on the menu (yet). Skare wing cooked to perfection.

Welcoming, friendly staff, fantastic food and a lovely setting.

I had not been to the restaurant for a couple of years due to Covid. Was pleasantly surprised that the good and service was how I remembered. We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.
