Ta Travel Center - Whitestown

This place needs a major improvement. Looks very old and ran down. It's very dark and gloomy. Everything is very overpriced! Price gouging comes to mind. Looks like someone is living in a camper trailer in the parking lot. Was scared to eat at the restaurant there. Looked scary and unclean. Stay away.!

No restaurant open at 8:23pm. Does not accept UltraOne in store. Cashier tells me “our system is old school”. Don’t stop here unless you’re out of hours and have no choice.

Let's start from the top. Showered at 10am this morning. Afterwards I washed my laundry. While waiting on the laundry I go downstairs and there is a sign on the kiosk saying showers are down at 11am. I went to get some ice from the fountain machine and there is a sign on the machine out of ice. A gentleman asked about a shower and the rude cashier said they are not down they just need to be cleaned. She said they have ice it just needs to be filled. Another customer asked about the restaurant and she said it's been closed 2 years and if you want some food go to popeyes. This store is a total disgrace,dirty showers with mold growing everywhere. The restaurant looks better than most country prides but it's closed and the workers in this store do not care about anything. Imagine being a trucker trapped at this site all weekend and you can not take a shower,get a fountain drink,eat breakfast at a sit down restaurant and a lot full of dropped trailers and bobtail truck parked for the weekend. PATHETIC!

With all the terrible reviews I hope I made the right decision to come to loves . Atleast I can get a decent coffee here ta coffee is bla and I got plenty of showers for the loves

I've had the worst customer service experience in my 15 years as a professional driver. This establishment lacks professionalism in every way. They mark up parts by about 30%, and they can't finish jobs within the time they promise. On top of that, the facility is one of the dirtiest I've ever encountered. Save yourself some time and money—anywhere else is a better option than this TA location.
