Wine Liquor - Whitestone

I grew up in Whitestone and rarely reached foot here. Hubs and I decided to take a chance here if I want to play lottery. We were really very happy because not only there parking, but we also found a place right in front of the store! Since I was not here in over a decade, I went around while hubs waited for lottery. The store is quite difficult to run through, especially when others try to buy also. I had no intention of buying something; I just wanted to search. You never know when you stumble on something unique! I didn't experience that here. The store is decent in size, there are only a lot of bottles. Housing on the floor, bottles on shelves and shelves, etc. I made my way forward where the employees and hubs had a conversation. The guy was really nice and personal. That's why I miss home, you don't meet friendly people too much in FL. Due to the pleasant experience we visited here a few times when visiting my parents. They sell alcohol and wine as well as lottery and scratch tickets. They are open on Sunday.

Super clean business with very attentive and friendly staff. Fast service, in and out no worries.

Not that great selection of wines, but ok for a local liqueur store.

We chose the Poulet Frites Lunch, which included a roasted half chicken with Jus Provençal, pommes frites, and a mixed green salad with mustard vinaigrette ($29). I also ordered the G Salad Lunch, featuring roasted chicken, mesclun, frisée, Asian pear, lardons, candied walnuts, blue cheese, and mustard vinaigrette ($28). The chicken was delicious and perfectly cooked, accompanied by flavorful gravy. The salad was fresh and complemented nicely by the tasty mustard vinaigrette. I found the fries to be a bit too thin and crispy for my taste, but everyone else seemed to enjoy them. The service excelled at keeping our glasses full and providing extra bread as needed. In the end, it may simply be rotisserie chicken, but it was delicious and reasonably priced for a lunch in New York.

I've eaten in the restaurant several times and loved it. But I really don't think they can handle the recent expansion to seamless. Our order was 40 min late (we live 1block away). Chicken was fine (but cold) everything else was a disaster. Sides were hugely over cooked and cold. Starters were fine but felt shop bought and repackaged. Salad well check out the pic. So disappointed. Really like this place but they cannot expect to charge restaurant prices for this.
