Orchid Manor - Whitehaven

I placed a phone order for pickup and received excellent, prompt service from a gentleman named Jamie. He was very polite and made sure to confirm everything with me, including the details of my order, the price, and the pickup time.

The dining experience here is excellent, with quick and friendly service. The decor is beautiful as well. I highly recommend it—it's a hidden gem in the heart of Whitehaven.

I have tried many Chinese restaurants in Great Britain and the USA, and this one is probably the best I’ve experienced. My only complaint is the difficulty in getting through on the phone, as they have only one line which can be challenging. However, the food is worth it. The restaurant is clean, and everything is always well-cooked and delicious. Nothing compares to it; Whitehaven is truly fortunate to have this place.

Excellent Chinese takeaway, light and fresh, rather than stodgy and oily. Good selection for vegetarians although adding Quorn where there is chicken would get it another star. The only downside is that only take cash, not a problem with cash points near but something to remember.
