Wok Box Whitecourt

We made a stop at Wok Box while passing through Whitecourt. I placed our order ahead of time, and it was ready in just 5 minutes! The food was tasty, and both the restaurant and the bathroom were exceptionally clean. Since we were on the go and sharing our meals, they happily provided us with extra containers for portioning. We’ll definitely be stopping here on most of our future trips!

I have dined at this restaurant numerous times during my stay in Whitecourt. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the welcoming atmosphere is something I eagerly anticipate each day. I highly recommend this place and will definitely eat here whenever I'm in town. The butter chicken, Dan Dan noodles, and firecracker dish are three of my favorite meals.

The noodles were decent, but I wouldn't recommend spending your money on the poutine. I ordered a small box of Hong Kong noodles along with a box of poutine. When I placed my order, I specifically asked about the box sizes. However, when I received my order, I noticed that the poutine box was only half full. When I requested more fries, the worker informed me that half a box is the company's standard serving size for poutine. I’ve included an image showing the volume of food I received before I even started eating. I regret leaving a tip before seeing my order. In total, I ended up spending $32 (including the tip) for a small box of noodles and a half-full box of poutine. It's best to avoid this establishment if they skimp on fries for a poutine that costs over $10.
