Bidrage med feedbackDelicious food and top-notch service! We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary with a fantastic dinner followed by a delicious breakfast buffet. The options were plentiful and we enjoyed sharing various dishes such as mint julep, Stella Artois beer, fried green tomatoes with lump crab meat, shrimp and lobster bisque, barbecue shrimp and grits, and creme brûlée with fresh berries. Personal favorites included the warm ciabatta with sugarcane butter, the crabmeat with fried tomatoes, and the creme brûlée. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of fresh fruits and hot items like bacon, sausage, grits, biscuits, pancakes, and scrambled eggs. The only minor issue was the lack of music, but we solved that by playing NEEDTOBREATHE on Spotify. Overall, a wonderful experience and we will definitely return!
I have never visited a better restaurant before. The atmosphere is incredible and the food and service are exceptional.
We recently had some of the best food in a while at this restaurant! The crab, prime rib, and pasta were all outstanding. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch, with the po' boys being a standout. Highly recommend trying this place out!
Ooooooh, this place!! My wife and I recently stayed at Nottoway Plantation for our 13th wedding anniversary. We knew about the on site restaurant, but I didn't know it was this good. I found it to be quite romantic. We sat in the rotunda with a beautiful view of the historic oak tree grounds. The walls of glass windows gave us a great sunset experience as we enjoyed spectacular food. We started with drinks. There were plenty of specials as well as any standard drink you may find: wine, beer, liquors, etc. My wife got a mint julep, it was STRONG, but I manned up and finished it for her. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts are all made with extremely good quality ingredients. In situations like this, you wish that you could sample everything because it all sounds good. Fresh crab and shrimp, good quality beef and chicken, and crisp vegetables gives their menu great credit. The food had great taste and presentation. That takes care of dinner, breakfast was a whole new ball game. Breakfast was either order off the menu or a decadent buffet. We chose buffet and were not disappointed. Fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, grits(stone ground), biscuits, oatmeal, and more and more. Even though some prices were a little much, the food and exceptional service made up for it. I loved it. Hope you do too.
This is not the restaurant that it once was. Food was terrible. No wine list, they don't have the key!
