Ordered Chili chicken as takeout. The meat was chicken, but the gravy smelled of fish. Called before going in to return and expected a reorder/refund. Rude person (in charge) said they don't put fish in Chilli chicken, and refused reorder/refund. He in fact, went far enough to tell us that their food needs to be eaten within an hour of being cooked. Botttom line: If you have food allergies or expect reasonable customer service, BUYER BEWARE!

I absolutely love the food here. We have ordered takeout for the past 7 years from this location. The food is really good BUT accuracy and timing is something that is not. So out of 10 orders 9 of them will be wrong. They are often missing something or I would order for example a vegetarian item Veg Chow Mein shows clearly on my receipt get it home and it is full of shrimp and chicken. So each time I call and ask them for the missing or wrong item means a drive back to the shop and round trip it is 35/40 minutes and now my food is cold and I have people waiting to eat. Last night I got the wrong item (two dishes of the same thing) they asked me to bring them back and they would give me the correct ones no problem. I was also disappointed when I try to order ahead (as in call at 430 and pickup for 530) they actually print the order after I get there so at 528 they printed the order (the receipt is time stamped) and that is when they start my order so I wait 20 minutes in the store for my order. My children decided for last mother's day to place an order. They ordered 3 days ahead knowing there would be a rush. They called and confirmed the order the day before and the day of. When they got there they didn't have the order and my kids waited 1 1/2 hours for their order as they were told they were busy! With the wait times and the high rate of error with a totallack of offer for compensation in any way for the inconvenience of me driving multiple times back and forth to pickup my whole order I don't think we will go back. YES I have stood in the store and unpacked my order and checked it myself but really do I always have to do this. I am a disappointed customer.

We went about 4.30 and nobody came for about ten minutes to take our order. My husband went to ask who our server was and was greeted with an unwelcoming face. She was having tea. There was one other table occupied and they came in the same time as we did, and they were eating even before our order was taken. Our spring rolls when we got them, were not hot, and as repeat customers we know what to expect, and it certainly was not what we got. It was not a wonderful experience, and because there are lots of other choices, we will NOT-be back. Good luck to you.

I ordered takeout for my birthday. The food was hot and fresh, and it was ready at the exact time I had requested. The staff was kind and friendly.

I have been a frequent customer at Tangerine whenever I visited Canada. My last visit was the first with my husband. I always raved about how wonderful the restaurant was. The sever was extremely unfriendly and had the most unpleasant look upon her face throughout our entire dining experience. Upon ordering my desert she did not understand what I ordered so she rudely addressed me and said what do you want? in the most unpleasant tone. I was extremely appalled, I then repeated my order and she had then most unpleasant look on her face and mumbled something in a foreign language to her coworker. I am extremely disgusted at the manner she spoke to me! I felt uncomfortable. It was such a disgrace! As much as I enjoyed the food I will never return to this restaurant again.
