Milestones - Whistler

Had the prime rib sandwich, really nice. Sat outside, great view, really friendly staff. My daughter loved the crispy chicken sandwich. Would definitely go back

No reservation so of course we had to wait for dinner but fortunately not long. Food pretty good- shared starter and a main course each was more than enough to satisfy our appetites as we are still not used to such generous portions. Drink offer fine too. Service attentive. No real character or atmosphere other than from screeching children (if parents cannot control their kids why should others have to put up with the result?) and far too loud background music. Expensive for what it is.

We ate at Milestones several times during our stay in Whistler. It was good as we had hungrey teenagers to feed and we found food expensive as the exchange rate was against us. Lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by.

Located at the foot of Blackcombe base station is this pub style grill. They have a wide range of drinks on the menu however the food was average. We both had steaks; the sirloin came with quinoa pilaf and beans and a pepper crust. This was okay but the rib eye was not great despite being their signature dish. The buttermilk onion rings were soggy and the vegies and mash okay. They filled the void. Not the best meal in town.

The restaurant had a sign on the door closing at 8pm due to staff shortage but we went anyway. Service was fine. The white chocolate cheescake was amazing as was the Bellini.
