Bidrage med feedbackWe have been to Merlin's every summer for several years and the nachos are a tradition. This year, although they were noticeably smaller than in previous years, they comfortably served five and were of the same quality as ever so can't complain. Beer also was good. Our server did not live up to the normal North American tradition of friendliness but may have been a cultural variation as her style was rather terse - could have done without the eye-roll at one elderly guest's request, and the compulsory tip added with no prior warning nor note in menu. All in all, though, it's a perfectly pleasant option in the Upper Village so for drinks and snacks on a cool patio you won't go wrong.
I don't like spicy hot food. I ordered5-Star Pork Barbacoa - Toasted brioche, low & slow roasted pork shoulder & citrus slaw.It sounded plain enough, but I couldn't eat it, the pork was covered in spicy sauce, which is fine if you put it on the menu so people know. Barbacoa is just steamed meat so it should say if it's covered in a sauce.I have ordered pulled pork burger in 3 restaurants this trip and not one other was covered in sauce. It's a lovely restaurant, staff are great, just explain the meals a bit better.
Nice place service is great food is terrific. Beer is cold this place is in the upper Village. Would recommend if you want some where a lot quiter than the Villilage. They have markets on sunday. And the drinks are cheaper then the village.
Great venue for sitting outside when the weather is good. Service was good. But the best part was the huge serve of one of the best nachos I've had......
The places is a good choice for eating before or after activities. Nice patio for beers. It markets itself as child friendly and Yes for kids over 3-4 years old this is a good place to eat. But if you want your children to eat healthy skip the kids menu for free deal – and order from the menu.
