Lime and Moon Pie Company - Whistler

Omg, organic peaches, in a fresh baked pie. So tasty! Sorry I waited in the photo, but my belly isn't sorry!! ???? lots of fresh pie options, great coffee and a magical view. Tell your friends it's awful here ????

My mother is a fabulous pie maker but I did not inherit her ability as hard as she tried to teach me. The first time I tried a pie from the Lime and Moon Pie Co. I once again had a pie as good as Moms! Every pie is excellent and it becomes very hard to pick with all the delicious selections.All pies are Organic and that is huge. Try one piece and unless you are a fabulous pie maker you will never buy a pie from someone else. The Mojo coffee they serve is as amazing as the pies. Have a Latte with the pie, what a combination.

After great anticipation for a pie that tastes like Mom's home cooking ( or at least on par with Savary Island Pie ), I had my first piece of L&M pie. I chose the savoury tortiere with a side green salad and a hot sauce condiment. The tortiere filling was yummy, plentiful and flavourful. The pastry, on the other hand, is adequate, but nothing to write home about, and the sweet pies on display, that have the same pastry, look pale in comparison to the heavenly looking pastry in the online photos. I do love L&M's creative sweet combinations (Apple raspberry with chocolate crust) and imaginative names ( strawberry rhubarb fields forever). My fingers are crossed that since it is early days for this wee Yaletown restaurant, the cook will review and improve the pastry. I do plan to return to try a sweet pie :-)

My husband had been craving a banana cream pie for some time, and they had a vegan banana cream pie. He said it was ridiculous. They also had a vegan blueberry pie.

One of things we looked most forward to coming to Bowen Island was visiting Lime & Moon Pie Company.Today was the best apple pie I've ever had. Sorry Mom.We grabbed a gluten free/vegan apple & blackberry and some salt spring island gelato & sorbet for our dessert after dinner.The best food highlight of many while on Bowen.
