Pizza Express - Wheeling

I couldn’t even find an updated website. Even though they were closed, it still allowed me to place an order. I waited for an hour and a half, and when I called, the automated message said they close on Tuesdays.

Loved the pizza (belly buster) and the steak salad yum ? Meatball Hoagie and Parm Hoagie was also great. Large portions. This whole menu was ordered over the weekend. Great job. ? Thank you.

Absolutely love pizza express the food is always awesome. Delivery is a great option as well only had one bad experience with a Delivery driver who wouldn't Deliver to my door. But I wouldn't let one lazy driver stop me from getting their delicious pizza.

This used to be one of my favorite pizza spots, but now the wait times often exceed an hour. Unfortunately, the quality has declined. The crust is frequently overcooked, sometimes even burnt, and they’ve been quite stingy with the toppings. Given the prices, which aren't low, there's no justification for this decrease in quality. We won't be returning anytime soon. I really hope they can turn things around, as they won't last long if this keeps up.

As someone who has both ordered from this restaurant multiple times and worked there, I can confidently say that it doesn’t even deserve a one-star rating. The manager fosters a toxic atmosphere by constantly yelling, while the other manager seems disengaged and does everything possible to avoid their responsibilities. Additionally, there are numerous health code violations—staff members often neglect handwashing, and I’ve witnessed cheese being picked up off the floor and used. Inappropriate conversations and music are a regular occurrence as well. It’s surprising that this establishment hasn’t been shut down yet.
