Quail Cafe - Whangarei

Went there for the first time on a Sunday morning and found it packed, so we had to wait for a table but it was well worth it. Staff were super nice and friendly even though it could very well be a very stressful time and atmosphere, with so many people, but they all stayed very calm and friendly. Food and coffee was great and it's nice, after eating nice food to be able to go for a walk and walk off some of the calories, in the beautiful and fascinating Quarry Gardens right there.

What a lovely cafe. Was bustling but staff made room for 5 of us. Staff absolutely amazing and friendly. The food and drinks were fresh and well made. The views to the gardens were beautiful. Enjoyed it all. Thank you In the photo eggs Benedict at top, warm waffles to the right (delicious), and corn fritters with bacon. Yum yum yum

Was very busy today despite the weather. But coffee and food arrived in good time and we didn't have to wait for long. Great service and the cafe was busy! Frech toast with berry syrup was divine

This pretty place, hidden a bit away from the main centre is a must visit. The food was excellent and the taste is quite satisfying. Personally I felt it was different and stands out from the usual cafes. They have a beautiful garden too and the ambience is beautiful. The staff will look after you really well. When in Whangarei, don't miss this café.

Wow! My first time visiting this Cafe and I absolutely loved my experience. From the customer service, the staff were so kind and lovely. Very helpful with alternative choices and recommendations (bcos I’m Lactose/offering dairy-free options) and the food presentation was spot on! Great food, great space (outdoors was beautiful scenery) Highly recommend. Thank you so much!
