Khane Bahar Indian Restaurant And Bar

Yummy food but way too spicy! We have ordered mild 2x from here and it's like a medium at any other restaurant. (Even with fresh cream, its still hot as) I hope they make the mild less spicy in the future.

I have ordered delivery for a friend of mine that lives there in Whangarei but I'm not local to the area. My friend and their family LOVE the food and I love that they are available to deliver to them! I guess because I'm out of the country I'm not able to rate them on the food delivery app that I use so wanted to leave a review here. Thanks to everyone at Khane Bahar Indian for helping me to treat some dear friends to their delicious meals! Much appreciated!

It's the customer service that forced me to give 4 star. Rajesh u are the best. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Chef needs to improve his biryani receipe. Probably its the biryani paste u using is spoiling the dish.

Hot goat curry was tasty although it wasn't as spicy as I expected. It had bones, too. Prawn curry was a bit sweet to my liking. Rice was ordinary low-grade and moist, not the usual basmati. Prices are OK; and will definitely go back to try the other dishes.

Nice restaurant. Authentic Indian food. Affordable as well. Not a big place but good ambience. Staff service was excellent.
