Delicious - Weymouth and Portland

We went there at 19:50 for tapas, were greeted with ‘sorry run out of food’ !!! You allocate for evening customers!??? Spain they eat Tapas late Not good

This is one of our fav places on the harbour, the food is awesome and the wines are fantastic (other beverages are avaiable) the host is friendly, knolwedgeable and always happy to advise on pairings etc. If you haven't been yet, then why?

Disappointing night spent here (2nd Sept). The elder gent/chef is rude, food bland and vastly overpriced for what it is. Will not be returning sadly.

The board consisted of green olives (one of which had a black hair on it), a few slices of sweaty chorizo/salami, wilted lettuce, aioli with a skin layer, fizzy sun-dried tomatoes, an abundance of bread, cheese, and cream crackers. It appeared as though it had been left sitting on the kitchen counter for an extended period of time. When the waitress inquired about our satisfaction, we expressed our disappointment. She apologized, and we decided to order more drinks and continue sitting outside. We arrived at 7pm, but by 8:30pm, the waitress and a man began clearing the tables around us. By 8:45pm, the man approached our table with the payment machine (even though we hadn't requested the bill) and urged us to finish our drinks and settle the bill. We were unsure if he was upset with us for expressing our discontent or if he was simply being rude, but neither behavior is acceptable. We left feeling disheartened and will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Had an utterly awful meal here tonight Sat 19.08.23. Went with my husband for tapas tonight and a lovely young girl took our drink and food order and whilst waiting for our food, another couple of ladies on a table next to us complained about their food that it was still frozen in the middle. Straight away red flags put me right off and I told my husband to cancel our food and we would just have our drinks and move on. My husband went to the bar to cancel and the chef came out and spoke to my husband explaining that the croquettes were frozen in the preparation process etc and that everything else was freshly prepared, that he had made a mistake and it wouldn’t happen again, so my husband gave him the benefit of the doubt and rejoined me at the table where we waited for our food and low and behold the 3rd dish into our meal bearing in mind we had (bread and oil and some tacos) came out frozen in the middle. Head in our hand moment, I mean surely you wouldn’t make the Same mistake twice? Well he did!! Ruined the experience couldn’t eat anything else. Best thing about the night was the lovely polite young waitress that looked mortified and couldn’t apologise anymore. Safe to say we will not be returning.
