Scandalous prices, and for average food. We were in company so rather than leaving we opted to have a much reduced dinner. Service very efficient, maybe too fast at times as we're made to feel rushed at ordering and after eating. We have eaten her a number of times in the past, always known prices to be a little on the high side, but the latest viewing of the menu left us shocked. Well over €30 for a sirloin steak! Nearly €20 for chicken goujons and chips! Nearly €8 for a bowl of soup... H&H have clearly lost touch with reality and greed has well and truly set in. Such a shame, as the premises is well located.

Travelling with a group of friends who were staying in the hotel, we had breakfast here on three mornings and dinner two evenings. Food was excellent service was excellent. Overall a good experience

Overnight stay with friends, excellent time had by all. Rooms cerh comfortable and well appointed, all the staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful. Meals were outstanding. Definitely will stay there again, highly recommended.

This pub is a kip. Staff wouldn’t let us sit at a table and we were reprimanded for standing. It’s a LOCAL pub for LOCAL people, with the atmosphere of a nursing home. It’s in dire need of refurbishment. Toilets smelled bad. Clientele was aggressive. They don’t appreciate out-of-towners. Left before we finished our drinks. Will not return.

Dropped in on way back from Waterford on Sunday evening around 5pm. There was a steady flow of people the time we were there. I felt at almost €20 per main course the quality was not good the food wasn’t hot, awful chips and the service was poor. I feel the value for money is just gone out of food service at the moment unfortunately.
