Rossli - Wettingen

I called in to this restaurant by chance with some friends. I had been before in 2015 and was well pleased. This time it was very disappointing. I ordered veal liver with rösti, one of my favorites in Switzerland. The first bite told me I was not eating veal! The liver was hard, overcooked and not at all fine as veal liver should. The rösti was very moist and was clearly made with the wrong potatoes and not fried in butter. The chef came to ask about the food and I tackled him about the liver. I was told that they didn't have any veal's liver in stock so had made cow's liver instead. I was naturally very shocked. They had served me without telling me that it was a different liver! Why does the kitchen stock cow's liver when veal is on the menu? When the bill came, I was charged in full! Needless to say, I complained. I will not be going back there again!

We ate dinner here October 22nd and during dinner 3 men came in playing music for the 3 tables that were in the restaurant. When I went to take a picture of them they immediately turned away. As soon as they finished they then came to our table, said nothing but held out a small tray with 10 francs on it. Basically begging for tips. Shortly after they received no tips from us they were then told to leave by the restaurant. They seemed unhappy but they left. We were offered free coffee, and then the check arrived. When we went to pay the credit card machine clearly looked like it was not working the display was blank. They then told us that the service in the area was no good so they had a bad connection. Which meant that we would have to pay with a credit card. Nobody had enough cash to pay. There was 5 of us and the bill was $140. They then said we needed to go outside to the ATM. They had us followed and I literally felt that if only one of us went to the ATM that something may have happened, like someone would have robbed the person going to the ATM alone. Paid the bill when we returned to the restaurant And told them that they would never receive our business again. Very shady business. I do not trust them at all. Also this could be considered a Fly Farm. About 6-7 fly's walking on ceiling and flying around us just killed the experience even more!!

Very nice terrace, wonderful restaurant with Thai delicacies, very friendly host couple who spoiled their guests with top gastronomy

Very friendly operators who actually care about the well-being of their guests. I find the combination of Thai and Swiss cuisine very interesting and covers a wide range of tastes. Nevertheless, the card is not overloaded.

Fair prices and super nice people. The service was courteous and always had a smile for us. The food tasted very good and you could tell it was fresh. Excellent! The ambience is good: simple but cozy. Nothing more is needed. Compliment.
