Pig On The Hill - Westward Ho!

From the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother. Recommendations for some starters were an excellent choice. Main course food was piping hot and beautifully cooked. We chose Pig on the Hill as we were looking for a recommendation to be able to take our well behaved dog to a restaurant. I am so glad we chose Pig on the Hill. If visiting the area in the future we would definitely go back.

Really good veggie vegan options. I had roasted cauliflower with flat bread (vegan) was delicious. My son had bubble and squeek which was also delicious. We didn't leave anything at all. Coconut vegan ice cream was divine. Lovely place.

Poor choice of menu not as advertised on website. Would not have booked by menu offered. It turned out to be an expensive experience with poor quality food.

The menu is limited and the majority of dishes were with chips. Our burgers were under cooked but the staff were very good as was the service and resolved the issue of the under cooked food promptly. It was disappointing as we had eaten in the sister venue which had better menu options and we thought the quality of food was better. Please note that dogs are allowed within the areas where food is served. Also the access road from Westwood Ho is single track and narrow in places.

Lovely staff in a great little Setting. The food is really well thought out and tastes as great as it looks.
