Layla's Falafel - Westport

This restaurant is absolutely delightful! We ordered two falafel pitas and some pita with hummus to take away, and it was all fantastic. They also offer vegan cookies, which were amazing! As a vegan, I wholeheartedly give this place two thumbs up!

Authentic chicken gyro, also known as vertical spit, shawarma, or doner, served with fresh, high-quality toppings and sauce. It seems they slice the chicken off the spit and store it, possibly in the fridge, before reheating it on the flat top, which resulted in somewhat dry chicken. Fortunately, it was well-seasoned and generously sauced. If you're a garlic lover like me, you'll enjoy it. One shawarma on pita left me feeling completely satisfied!

Such kind service and delicious food. I had the falafel salad. Tons of great greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, hummus, pickles, and crispy well spiced falafels.

Hands down, this is absolutely the best place in town for shawarma and other traditional Middle Eastern dishes. The hummus and pita is so fresh it is truly indescribable. You’ll just have to try it for yourself.
