Basso is a lovely spot that's perfect for both family outings and romantic date nights. The food is outstanding, and they pay great attention to those with gluten restrictions. Thank you for accommodating those of us with dietary limitations! Your menu caters to all our needs! The atmosphere is unique, but what truly stands out is Renato, the owner—he's a true gem and a superstar! Thanks to the entire Basso team!

One of our favorite places in Westport! Excellent food, wonderful staff, and perfect drinks! It's like a little piece of Italy right off the Post Road.

We were a group of three who ended up eating like six! The staff graciously expanded our table and met all our needs, allowing us to fully enjoy the delicious food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. Our waiter was incredibly helpful, guiding us through their fantastic menu and even letting us sample some experimental drinks they’ve been developing. The food was outstanding, and the experimental drink quickly became a favorite—fingers crossed it makes it onto the menu for our next visit! Keep up the great work!

Mario was our waiter. What an awesome guy. He really made sure that the patrons were taken care of and most importantly enjoyed their meal. Food was delicious. Something for everyone with a dark and moody atmosphere ; We missed the live music, but no doubt we'll be back.

Delicious food, good drinks, warm and attentive service, nice location. Acoustics of the space make it easy to hear each other even if other tables are noisy and/or the music is loud. We'll be back.
