Lovely food, reasonable prices too. All round a winner!

Been to this cafe several times. The food was always good. But the service WAS subpar ... Well without a doubt this is a vast improvement since then. While the guy and girl that now serve was not perfect, the improvement is tenfold. Well done Chilli, you are doing super. The gentleman was very nice, perhaps a small language barrier as he seemed a little nervous but friendly and so helpful. The young lady, the same friendly and helpful, but in a little rush. The food was great well cooked and delivered promptly. Still a few mistakes here and there but nothing major. We ordered two full Irish, one with poached eggs and the other no tomato. Sadly they put the poached eggs and no tomato on the one order. My wife 's Avo on Sour dough with prawns, was a little mixed bag. It was good. But a few things that just make it not recommended. First, it was a little bland, needing lemon salt and pepper, and second the toast was to hard to cut through and my wife struggled. If I had one criticism of this place... It has too many items on the menu. Reduce the menu to a 3rd and do those things well. Sadly they offer too much choice and do a ok-good attempt at it. My son had the Salmon Bagel, it was the best dish on our table. But even it was a little frought, the capers all managed to clump in one area, so on his first bite was a little on the strong side. It 's those little things that change a perception of a dish. Sticking capers in place with butter or some sauce would be a good idea. But also my son is not use to capers in the first place. But the best thing about this place is the effort the put into it. You can see it and while they always have issues, I cannot say that it is unpopular. I really like this place. On to the atmosphere, the music is a strange one. It started with 3 Micheal Jackson songs, Annie are you ok... twice. Then the music stopped and didn 't play again. Whole experience was amusing and quirky, but I have anguished feelings about MJ music, and he was my era and a personal thing. I would go again, and try something new on the menu. So many choices, it can be hard to choose. Also they have outside tables, with qr scan menu. The tables are a short distance away from the shop front. But the limitation is handled well, so if there is good weather I would recommend. I would recommend eating here another day as well.
