Tavern On The Square - Westmount

Great dinner with family. our server has done really good work to ensure that we enjoyed everything and delivered very helpful hints when it comes to ordering our meals.

The steak tartar was a bit clunky. Home made chips were a bit pedestrian. Bread pudding was a bit dry. $120 barolo served at room temp, sparkling water bottle left on the table to warm up. Decent restaurant, but details need to be upped to justify the price.

I usually one for dinner and am never disappointed. I met up with a friend for lunch and ordered the salad special. It came with a mushroom soup. The soup was terribly bland, and the salmon salad was mediocre at best.

Service was absolutely outstanding and the food was great

We've been enjoying Taverne for many years and the food is always consistently delicious. Just wish they'd bring back the Tuna Burger.
