Bidrage med feedbackThe atmosphere of Le Pain Quotidien is fantastic. The decor and small touches are as cute as a button. The vibe of the French bakery is an experience all its own. The service, however, gives new meaning to the name “Le Pain”. Wow, is it painful! If you are under any time constraints, this is not the place to come. But, if you need some good entertainment watching well-to-do people getting anxious and angry about “first world problems” — mainly the egregious wait time — well Le Pain offers many minutes, if not hours of entertainment.
LPQ has got a great atmosphere and mostly always friendly service and great food. A go to place for sure.
Sit for over 15 minutes for a simple sandwich order, kind of slow. And the bread of the sandwich is cold and hard.
Le Pain Quotidien in Westlake Village offers a convenient and casual spot for a bite to eat. Whether you prefer the cozy vibes indoors or the fresh air on the patio, there's seating to accommodate your preference. Plus, with ample parking in the surrounding strip mall lot, it's easy to get in and out. My recent visit, however, was a bit of a mixed bag. I opted for the banana bread with buckwheat, requesting it warmed. While the bread itself was decent, the wait for it to be heated took a while. The real letdown was the iced chai. Unfortunately, it was quite watery and had a bit of a chalky aftertaste. The slow service on the heating request and the disappointing drink brought the experience down a notch. Overall, Le Pain Quotidien is a decent option for a quick bite, especially considering the easy parking. However, if you're looking for a standout bakery experience with top-notch drinks, you might want to explore other options.
Great food, cute location with nice outdoor patio, and great variety on the menu. Only thing is we waited 30 minutes for our server and almost went somewhere else! The first server spent 10 minutes at another table placating their requests, disappeared without greeting us, came back to bring their food, walked past us again without saying hello, and disappeared. But then Ariana came to save the day and did an absolutely terrific job, friendly and prompt service and made the experience wonderful.
