Bidrage med feedback@Maxine F: Lavash is so good. It tastes like the food at Lavash. You should try to go to Lavash again because Lavash is actually really good. Babaganoush, Baklava, Lamb Boti.
Really want to write a great review but can't . Food was just ok falafel , chicken sandwiches were lame , sparse . Pita bread was dense , did not seem fresh , and hummus was too thick . Also , they refuse to serve tap water, we had to buy bottled water or soda . The worst part was that the outside environment was sad . There was absolutely no effort to make it seem inviting just tables under a soccer style tent , on a hot street . I'm from Westfield and want this place to be good, but will go to a different middle eastern restaurant next time.
Ordered take out during COVID pandemic. Maybe that contributes to the low rating in some way, but I don't think it has that much impact. Ordered the kebab platter for two it's supposed to have chicken, beef, and lamb but there was one piece of beef and mostly lamb. All of the meat was dry. Served over rice, nothing special. Came with white sauce essentially mayo, not great. The Babaganoush was the best thing looked very fresh and tasted great. We also ordered Mediterranean wings were supposed to be citrus, garlic, olive oil, spices, cilantro according to menu but were just regular buffalo wings. They were good buffalo winds but not what I was expecting. The baklava was solid.
Disappointing and not remotely authentic. Taste is terrible for the basics.
Lovely service and doing the best they can with heating under the present circumstances. We went for brunch and enjoyed everything we ordered
