Chef N' Pigeon Lake - Westerose

We have eaten here a few times and have not been disappointed. Their food is always fresh and tastes delightful every time! The best fish and chips (Friday) I have ever eaten!Also, their sticky toffee pudding..... (when they have it) is superior! You will not be disappointed! You can either sit in the lounge or the main restaurant. Both are very enjoyable. Give it a try. It's a nice drive out to Pigeon Lake for a drive.

The restaurant is great, service is good, and food is amazing. Had the seared salmon and it was to die for. My husband had the Farmers burger and walked away full. Prices are up there but you get what you pay for. Definitely will go back.

What a discovery! Visiting Pigeon Lake for golf and the spa we decided to give Chef N' a try for lunch. We were very impressed by the warm, friendly and quick service but even more by the turkey clubhouse, beef brisket and Asian fish tacos- perfectly prepared and presented...and delicious. Luckily there were three of us to order each of the amazing desserts. We never did settle which was best, the apple pie with ice cream made fresh to order, the sticky toffee pudding or the superb chocolate slice(gluten-free). They smoke their own meat. The gravy for the fries simmers for 24 hours. These people take the quality of their food very seriously and you can tell with each bite.

Food was meh. Service was meh. Methinks someone is trying too hard. Why are there salad greens on everything? Intense, unappetizing smoke flavor on beef sandwich. Lumpy, congealed gravy. Pop had a sulphur taste to it. Not good value for the price, rude and inappropriate management.

Missed lunch and we're running late for home. Large portions of delicious food. She had the drunken Irish chicken. Very substantial and very tasty. I had their house special mushroom burger with homemade kettle chips. Fantastic. And guess what; they have Guinness!
