We got a lucky with a late cancellation and managed to get a lunch booking at Wolfgat. It’s a set menu with locally harvested foods only. Wines are also local. 7 course meal that does not leave you wanting nor too much. A beautiful setting on the beachfront with sparse but enough furnishings. Decided to visit Wolfgat after seeing it make the top list of restaurants in South Africa. The service was absolutely amazing, so was the ambience and restaurant. The menu is heavily focused on sea food which is sourced locally and prepared perfectly. While Wolfgat hit the spot on many levels, I missee a bit of finesse on some of the dishes which were overly robust and tough to chew. But all in all, a great experience that I'd recommend.

Nothing to say that has not already been said. Best food I ever had in my life. The atmosphere was relaxed. The staff exceptional. The wine amazing and overall worth every cent. We planned our entire vacantion around our Wolfgat reservation and our expectations were exceeded. Will definitely recommend this experience to everyone. Keep up the good work guys. A wonderful experience. Rated as one of the best restaurants in the world. This is a treat that is well worth experience. Wonderfully relaxed and unprentious, wolfgat let's the good and surroundings speak for themselves. An idyllic setting looking out over the sea. The food was exceptional, interesting unique and delicious. The service was subtle and attentive. This is truly a treasure, highly recommend it
