Weltevrede Fig Guest Farm

The drive to Weltevrede is a 25km dirt road with stunning views of the mountain range. The fig tart at the end of the drive made it even more worth while. You can find a lot of their products in various shops in Prince Albert but there are cheaper direct from the Weltevrede shop. Gorgeous fig farm, with a lovely coffee shop, serving a delicious fig tart. Beautiful store selling fig preserves, souvenirs and many handmade art articles. A must visit!

We stayed in Prince Albert and went to Weltevrede Fig farm for lunch. It is about 25 km dirt road, but the view of the Karoo landscape makes it worth while. There is a lovely shop at the farm with delicious preserves, beauty products and other hand made goods. Try the platter for one, it is amazing. The shop attendant/waiter is also very friendly and helpful.
