Blue Crane Farm Lodge - Western Cape

We had a very pleasant stay, midweek. The cottage was spotless and nicely furnished. A real treat was the fresh bread and farm milk delivered early morning. The hot tub was great with loads of wood supplied. Very nice.

It was amazing. If you're visiting in winter you will enjoy it so much because you get soooo much wood it's impossible to use it all. Fresh bread and milk each morning too with delicious butter and even eggs!

We had a peaceful stay in the very private Woodpecker Cottage, overlooking the mountains and the dam. The cottage was clean and generously well stocked with wood, matches and firelighters for starting an indoor fire, outdoor braai, the hot tub and the lovely pizza oven. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, from a pizza cutter to a coffee plunger. The morning bread and milk delivery was a lovely touch and very enjoyable with the provided butter and eggs.
