Blue Crane Farm Lodge - Western Cape

We had a very pleasant stay, midweek. The cottage was spotless and nicely furnished. A real treat was the fresh bread and farm milk delivered early morning. The hot tub was great with loads of wood supplied. Very nice.

We had a peaceful stay in the very private Woodpecker Cottage, overlooking the mountains and the dam. The cottage was clean and generously well stocked with wood, matches and firelighters for starting an indoor fire, outdoor braai, the hot tub and the lovely pizza oven. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, from a pizza cutter to a coffee plunger. The morning bread and milk delivery was a lovely touch and very enjoyable with the provided butter and eggs. What a spectacular girls weekend away. The views of the hills and the sunrise were breathtaking, and the hot tub made it extra special. We absolutely loved making our own pizzas… First time making our own in a real pizza oven! Oh the laughs we had The beds were very comfortable, the shower was a beaut, and the freshly naked bread and milk delivered daily in the hatchet was a real treat. It was amazing. If you're visiting in winter you will enjoy it so much because you get soooo much wood it's impossible to use it all. Fresh bread and milk each morning too with delicious butter and even eggs!
