Venere - Westbury

Venere's has been a neighborhood gem for many years and the reason is it never disappoints. There sauces are flavorful without being too garlicky. Their fish is always fresh and tasty and their specials are terrific no matter what you choose. The wait staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

I moved away but visited for the first time in many years. So good. Great value. Great food and cocktails. Nice mellow ambience. Great family place. The service was amazing.

This was our first time here as we were looking for an Italian restaurant and was referred to Venere Restaurant by an acquaintance of the family. My husband and I were very impressed by the professional attentiveness by all the staff from the young hostess Callie (sp? , wait staff and our lovely server Nancy. We started with mussels in a white wine sauce. The mussels were large and sweet. We shared a refreshing Caesar salad. For entrees we both had specials husband had the gnocchi pesto with shrimp and I had the rib eye steak with peppers and potatoes. Desserts were the lemon sorbet and a combo cheesecake/carrot cake. They gave us a tiramisu dessert on the house. Everything was delicious! All of this accompanied with a Barrolo red wine. Perfect Saturday date night. Do come early and we lucked out with no reservation. This place filled up fast. Grazie, torneremo!PS. Currently they are ‘fixing’ the parking lot area but no problem finding parking there.

Very nice place and has been there for years. They always offer you a wonderful gift for your birthday month. Food is good service is good. Family owned

Venere is our go-to Italian restaurant. Although prices have risen by almost 50% in the past few years, so has everyone else's. The food and the service are reliably good and it's very convenient. They also offer good discounts.
