This was the worst birthday I have ever had. The place was so fancy, yet they were charging $5 for bottles of water in the room with no complimentary champagne or candy on the pillows. They didn't even offer free mimosa champagne with brunch; everything had to be paid for. I was so disappointed, it was truly the worst birthday ever. A noteworthy detail is that if you are African American, be prepared to be judged by your color. It felt like they were suspicious that we wouldn't pay or couldn't afford to stay there. Make sure you have enough money on the card you give them at check-in, as they take payment while you are still unpacking instead of waiting until checkout. They claimed the security deposit was $50, but at checkout they wanted an additional $200, including the original $50. It was humiliating and shameful to be treated like thieves based on our race. What a terrible birthday experience; I will never recommend this place to anyone. The rooms were rated 4 out of 5, service 3 out of 5, and location 5 out of 5. The hotel's high-tech features were a highlight.

I rented a condo for a week and loved the location and the beauty of the condo. It's extremely expensive and the condo is located in an area where there is NO PARKING. To get to your car you have to call the front desk and ask for a ride to get to your car. (You have to park in the parking area that is nowhere near the condo. You're stuck if there's no one to pick you up or take you back to your condo in the evening. Several times we had to wait for someone who was working the front desk to take our group back to our condo. The folks who did this, did it with a smile and were very efficient. Service has gone down at this beautiful place because of employee shortage. I wouldn't recommend the condo rental as they are extremely expensive and the location, though beautiful, is difficult to reach by foot and not handicapped accessible. Walkability: Not good if you have a disability or are older. Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet
