Bidrage med feedbackWas looking for a good burger on a Saturday night and found Legends Rest. Had a perfectly made burger with tater tots. Tots were crisp and a pleasant change from fries. The drink selection was diverse. I had a Budvar as well as a tasty cider. My tip of the cap goes to the friendly young lady holding down the bar and waiting tables by herself. Well done, we noticed! I am sure it is a great place to go if you are a local and the staff knows you. They do have a nice selection of bar and offer inside and outside seating options.
Small, cozy sports bar. They have lots of tv with a bar and a few tables. The service is great and the food comes out fast. Don't come for cocktails but they have a huge selection of seltzer and beer! The food is great bar food. The tater tots are my favorite, the Buffalo Mac is amazing and the burgers are great. I like everything on the menu! They also serve food late (11pm on the week days and 1am on the weekends). Great place to watch the game!
We dined outside as it was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Our server, Meg, really took care of all the tables with extreme efficiency. I had the chicken caesar salad which was exceptional. The grilled chicken was nicely spiced and freshly grilled. The romaine lettuce could not have been more crisp. The dressing was delicious but not overwhelming. Top marks for the Legends Rest Taproom! Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible for my manual wheelchair, a big plus! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking
While vacationing in Westbrook I stumbled upon this gem whilst enjoying a stroll along the City's Riverwalk (definitely worth exploring this beautiful trail too). It was a lovely sunny spring day and I was in the mood for a lil something something. I spotted a Legends server waiting on the guests outside, she smiled asked me how I was doing. I knew I found my spot! So I followed her in and immediately knew this was the place to be. Clean, cozy, intimate, loved the sports theme, it was like you were backstage at some ball park speak easy. I glanced at the elevated pub grub menu and didn't read any further once I saw the soft pretzel with house beer cheese. *Yep! hook me up with that* Order was placed and I got a cold beer and looked over the menu and absorbed the general atmosphere. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable you could tell they were enjoying working there. Three pretzels arrived with a side of beer cheese hint one beer cheese isn't enough ask for extra! You're gonna love it. The pretzels were salted lightly, hot and chewy on the outside inside was perfect fluffy doughy rip apart pretzel. Toothy and gooey all the things you want in this pub treat. The time of day I was there was a lazy low key mid afternoon. There were a smattering of locals at the bar and sitting outside with their dogs (well behaved pup friendly outside). The beer and wine selection was extensive, there is a staggering number of mug club members. Restroom was gender neutral single stall, clean. The location is amazing. Right there along the river gorgeous. Next time I'm in town I've got my eye on the Red Dog Mac and Cheese cause I grew up on that! Yeah, check it out if you're looking for a swanky sporty hole in the wall with a great view.
