Mcdonald's - West Yellowstone

The breakfast at this restaurant is delicious. The new protein McMuffins are a great choice, and the coffee is also excellent.

This establishment is the only true fast food option in or around the park. Don't waste time at the park restaurants - this place is fantastic. The food is incredibly fast and always warm, with a predictable selection. I especially enjoyed the cinnamon rolls around 7 in the morning, which I took to the park. On the way back to the hotel at 9 or later, I grabbed dinner. The staff and service were excellent.

There are a few things to note when visiting this place. Firstly, the preferred method of ordering is through a kiosk, with three located to the right as you enter the building. Secondly, while you can stay to eat your order, there are no seats available and you must stand while eating. Tables are provided for placing your food. This wasn't a problem for us as we had been sitting for hours and appreciated the chance to stretch. Additionally, face masks are encouraged in the restaurant, but not strictly enforced. If this is a concern for you, I would recommend using the drive-thru to get your food instead of dining in.

McDonald's was our go-to location for picking up our breakfast on our Yellowstone National Park trip. This is near the West Yellowstone National Park entrance. The best part of this is it open pretty early and closes late. Love the egg muffins and the hash browns for the breakfast.

Fast service; very clean establishment and helpful staff. But dining is not open yet. Only drive-thru and takeouts.
