Lovely restaurant near the ocean with a focus on seafood dishes that perfectly suit the setting. They offer a thoughtfully curated selection of global wines and delicious cocktails. I enjoyed lunch with a colleague and found the staff to be attentive without being intrusive. Whether it's a casual meal or a business meeting, the atmosphere here is great.

Highly recommend ancora if you’re looking for delicious seafood with a modern twist! The restaurant is also stunning and is very aesthetically pleasing! Our server josh was very welcoming, attentive, and had great suggestions for food and beverages! He suggested the sushi pizza which was to die for (next time I’m ordering 2). I wish I could remember the name of the cocktail he suggested, but I can’t find your cocktail menus online. Overall great experience! Can’t wait to come back!!

First opportunity to try Ancora and it was FANtastic. The ambience is lovely, inside or Patio, really nice. The dinner was amazing. We enjoyed Sable Fish, that our guest said was “outstanding “. I had Mussels, the appy version and the dish was more than I expected. The Wine list is plentiful with some BC Wineries showcased. Prices points are competitive but not out of line. What blew us away was the service. First class all the way. Our server was attentive, the wait staff (Bussers) were frankly out of this world. Do yourself a favour and go and enjoy Ancora.

We came here for a nice feeling upscale dinner after going to the Christmas Market on a Saturday evening. We got in last minute (as in 3 days before) This is a gem. Great and attentive staff. Very knowledgeable about wine. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was perfect. We would totally come here again.

My friends enjoyed the sushi pizza. I thought the seafood could have been fresher. The sablefish is a must order. The single greatest thing on the menu.
