Bidrage med feedbackWent for the breakfast buffet. Limited selection but worst..COLDThe serving trays were not kept hot. Worst coffee I have ever had. Like 3 day old grounds being reused. Service was meh. Had to flag people down for anything.Nice dining room with view, but all the windows open on a cold day made for a chilly breakfast.
We adore staying on this side of the park regardless of the building to be further away from the chaos with incredible views and great dining! Whether you are in the hotels or the cabins nearby this is an incredible area for families: Beach access, great visitor centers nearby and easy parking.
We ate there for 3 days, breakfast and dinner, we enjoyed the breakfast, good coffee, nice buffet style spread with smoked salmon, eggs to order, fruits, all sorts of breads, pastries and much more .Dinner menu was limited to about 5 or 6 different main course dishes, got boring fast as 4 of the dishes did not appeal to me, between the two of us we were able to sample a few dishes, good ingredients and prep.Consistency is non existent, we ordered some of the same dishes 3 nights in a row never came the same, still good though.Wait staff was very efficient and nice.Good wines and full bar.
The service was slower than the glaciers that made the parkWent here with family to celebrate the first evening on vacation (Tuesday 9/26/2023) and we were definitely disappointed.Overall the food was good 4/5, but not great the plate was hotter than the food so it likely sat before being brought out. The dining ambiance was pleasant enough, however multiple neighboring tables arrived, ate, and left before our food arrived. The table immediately next to us arrived after us and was eating dessert when our entree arrived. Our waitress made no attempt to inform us of any delay, which would have been appreciated if explained. I suspect she did not put in our order in the first place and then forgot to bring our food once it was done. The dining manager was running around making sure empty tables were set up for breakfast the following day, instead of ensuring the patrons currently dining were assisted.Very disappointed and would not recommend wasting your time or money here. We had a better meal at Cassie’s Steakhouse in Cody, WY!
I find it difficult to review this place. On one hand the goal of this restaurant is to provide fine dining. However they are located in a national park.. Which is very much in the middle of nowhere. So in the sense that is fine dining in a National Park, I thought they did a fine job. If you frequent fine dining establishments a lot, then you'll probably find it lacking. My husband and I had a split decision about our meals, he did not enjoy his, whereas I enjoyed mine. Considering the limited choice of staff that National Parks have I didn't expect to be wowed, so I think that helped.
