Bidrage med feedbackWhat an excellent place. We don't get loads to Sacramento as we use, as hard as you get there. I have it several years today, still the great place I remember, friendly staff, good food. Today is stopped for steamed pig beans, I like the baked too, but this is the weekend. You have a very nice dim sum. You can use Bob-Tail-Halb or RV-Room in the back of the car park. We parked on the street next to Ralph's. Take i80 EXIT 81 to the restaurant. Enjoy your meal.
I came here for most of my life and my family always gets great service from Stephanie. Most of the time we order in large quantities, but we also like to sit at the tables. The best time to come is when the cars roll during lunch so you can get a good choice. If you are the kind of person who takes care of aesthetics and location, this is not the place for you. This is the best kind of old school, legit dim sum eating for those who are about the food.
Unfortunately, King 's has closed from 29 October 2017. The 92-year-old owner finally decided to retire after a 50-year run. It's very missed by everyone. IF you like Great Food, and Time Traveling back into the 1960's you 've got to try this place. It looks inconspicuous when you first enter because the family owners spend their money on eating instead of rebuilding. Nevertheless, if you like family style dinning in a nostalgic environment, there is a going to place. Prices are reasonable. We usually take out and you can't ask for any MSG.
I live right around the corner of this place and I go there not only because it is convenient, but because the service is great, as well as with the GREAT tasting food. From dim-sum to orange chicken you will always be full and satisfied! I would recommend the paper Wrapped Chicken, it tastes great and is almost always the first item done. Also on Saturday for Dim-Sum! They walk around with bowls full of delicious dim-sum.
This is my favorite Dim Sum in Sacramento! Jennifer is almost always the one at the counter, and this is a small family-owned operation. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and my family has been going for even longer. I can tell business has been tough for them in recent years, but they're still busy at prime time on weekends!
