COELIACS BEWARE. I visited Nourish On Tuesday 24th Jan 2017 and ordered a savoury muffin, because it was the only labelled ''gluten free'' item available. I ate less than half because it was dry and tasteless. However, three hours later having returned home, I became violently ill with stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhoea. Coeliacs will recognise these symptoms as a result of accidentally ingesting gluten. I obtained the telephone number of Nourish Café from the City West office and have tried to contact the café a number of times but the calls go through to message bank. I have left messages for them to call me back in an effort to advise them that the muffin was definitely not gluten free, and of the consequences for Coeliacs, if they ingest gluten, but to date I have not received a reply.
I MOST definitely would NOT Recommend this cafe/kiosk unless you want very average coffee n Boring pre made tasteless rolls which get sqaushed in a griler/toaster and look like that have been sat on. As for the service, their is NONE maybe thats bcoz its really just a take away place and not an enjoyable cafe. The young girl who I think is a Backpacker is INCREDIBLY Rude and has No customer service skills n doesn't know how to smile let alone speak the Language as she has a very strong accent, but Im guessing its CHEAP Labour for the owner so she or he doesn't care which is Incredibly sad as Im Assuming they don't get much repetive business unless its from the workers in the complex and thats Only bcoz they are Time Poor! Cant see this place surviving as I Would definitely not go back as I like to be treated as a person and not a number as Once the rude girl took my money their was No thankyou, no eye contact let alone a smile. I recommend going down the road, much much better coffee n food options and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

It's about a year between visits to City West for me, so I was surprised to find this new cafe situated right outside the Domayne furniture store. There was a crowd of early lunchers when I first got there, but the crowd and the food cabinet had dwindled considerably the time I'd finished shopping and was ready for some lunch. There's nothing very exciting going on food wise at Nourish - there are pre-made-up rolls, salads, toasties (reasonably priced at $7), muffins and a small selection of cakes. In a complex bereft of food outlets, this is the be all and end all, and I guess most of the patrons work in the shops in the complex. I settled for a spinach and feta muffin as all the toasties had gone, and there was nothing else that was screaming "eat me!". My long mac was ok - I've had better and I've had worse - it wasn't burnt and it wasn't insipid, so that's a plus in my book. The muffin was insipid however, as mass-produced muffins usually are. If you need a caffeine or sugar hit in a hurry and you're at City West, then Nourish will do the job. If you're after lunch with a bit more bite however, I'd mosey on down the road to Aliment or Hylin. thewomanfromoz.com
