Wychwood Inn - West Oxfordshire

Had a long weekend for hubby’s birthday. The Wychwood Inn was selected as it was dog friendly and we wanted to take our Cocker Spaniel with us. We really enjoyed our stay, nothing was too much trouble and it was lovely to be able to dine with our dog. My friends and I enjoyed a delightful dinner at the Wychwood Inn on our final day in England. The cozy pub had a charming terrace and created the perfect atmosphere for a pleasant evening with friends. If we ever find ourselves back in the Cotswolds, we will definitely return to this gorgeous spot. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

We had an overnight stay on August Bank Holiday Monday and it was fantastic right from the start. The car park was decent. As we walked into the lovely, bright bar, we were greeted with a smile by friendly locals. The decor was beautiful. We stayed in the smallest room, room 4, which was really nice with a spacious bathroom and a huge shower. The hospitality tray was well-stocked and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had dinner in the front bar which was beautiful and cozy, with excellent service and delicious food. The garden with an outside bar was fantastic and must be seen. The full English breakfast was cooked to perfection and served with a great selection of juice, cereals, toast, fruit, Greek yogurt, and fruit compote. The waitress was lovely and our stay was wonderful. We couldn't find any faults with it!

Terrible food, overpriced, little to choose from. Very little fresh food, mostly frozen or reheated. Waitress had no idea about the food being served when we asked her for details. Not a pleasant experience.

We stopped by this restaurant last weekend for a few drinks and had a wonderful evening. The drink selection was great, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was really nice. Even though we didn't eat, we noticed that the menu was extensive and the food looked appetizing.
