Best place in town! Very nice atmosphere and really friendly staff. They have a great range on the menu. Will be coming again. Great for all ages.

Great Staff! Great Beer! Great Space! The image I saw on another review concerned me but when I went there was seating outdoors with gazebos and door staff managing everyone.

While I had heard mixed reviews myself and some friends decided to book in, upon arriving we were welcome and seated by a friendly young girl. Drinks arrived promptly and my partner even stopped by during the night with our dog, at this point a bowl of water and some dog treats where offered and gratefully accepted. By the end of the night we were laughing and joking with a member of staff about the joys of parenthood, playing a game with tiki drinks? And reluctant to go home. Will be returning again. Keep up the good work girls!

Had heard great things about this place and looked forward to attending now that restrictions have lifted. At first glance it looked great when we arrived with the small interior supplemented by canopies and heaters over outside seating area. We were given a table inside and within 10 seconds of sitting down asked what we’d like to order. The young lad who was doing the table service I’m going to presume was new and therefore maybe overly enthusiastic so I can forgive that. Having never been before and having no idea what was available we asked for a menu. This seemed to be an utterly bizarre request for the young man as he had to go and ask one of the three other people working about it. Unfortunately he returned empty handed. One of the reasons for coming to the Siege was to have some cocktails so no menu makes things quite difficult. On broaching this subject the ordering iPad was thrust on to the table and we read the cocktail list off there. The 10 seconds we had to read it meant we couldn’t really digest the names, and seeing as no ingredients were mentioned it was decided to just pick one that we could reasonably guess the contents. In fairness the drinks were perfectly fine and the guy doing the service was completely pleasant enough. When three of the staff decided to move a gas canister in front of the door to prop a door open so they could all have a cigarette we decided to try our luck elsewhere. I think this place could be really fantastic and judging by reviews has been in the past but some proper training and a focus on the basics of service would probably assist in this. PS as we left we noticed a discarded menu on one of the tables

Managed to secure a table for a drink as they were booked from 7.30 which is fair enough and we hadnt booked a table!. Weather was awful so great to have the heaters outside. Bar staff took out order/table service. The staff were fantastic and the service was great. Will be going back. Lovely little pub.
